Reaching GöteborgGöteborg/Gothenburg is located at the Swedish west coast 300km north of Copenhagen, 300km south of Oslo and 450km south-west of Stockholm.The most common way of travel is by air. Göteborg is well connected to numerous airports in Europe via its airport Göteborg-Landvetter (20min by bus/taxi from the conference centre). Intercontinental flights usually connect via Copenhagen (30min), Frankfurt (1:30h), London (2:00h), Amsterdam (1:30h), Paris (2:00h) or Brussels (1:30h). There is a second airport, Göteborg-City, which is presently served by RyanAir and Air-Berlin. Links to the convention centre by bus/tram or taxi (30min). Göteborg can be reached from European mainland also by car (bridge via Denmark or ferry via Denmark, Germany nad other Baltic countries) and by train (via Copenhagen).
Local TransportationThe main programme will take place at the Göteborg Convention Centre which is located in the city centre with walking distance to most hotels and shopping areas. Göteborg has an extensive and frequent tram and bus service, for information and directions please visit www.vasttrafik.seTutorials take place at Mathematical Sciences, Chalmers University of Technology. From the conference centre stop Korsvägen take tram 6, 8 or tram 13 to Chalmers (just one stop) and walk through the main entrance of Chalmers Campus. Other lines serving Chalmers from different directions are tram 7 and 10 and busses 16 and 58. Signs will direct you then Workshops take place at Wallenberg Conference Centre, Medicinaberget, University of Gothenburg. From the conference centre stop Korsvägen take tram 6 or tram 13 to Medicinaregatan (three stops). Other lines serving Medicinaregatan from different directions are tram 7 and buss 58.Walk into the street to the right and follow the signs.

For timetable please visit www.flygbussarna.com Approx. 30 min to the Central station (stop Nils Ericssonsterminalen). Price per person: SEK 60 one way and 110 for return ticket. Credit card or Swedish currency is accepted on board.
Taxi Arriving by public transport to Göteborg Convention Centre From the Central Station you take tram No. 2 (Drottningtorget) to stop Korsvägen. Please note when travelling by tram you have to buy a card valid for trams and buses (except Airport buses) for SEK 100 in kiosks or have Swedish coins for the ticket machine inside the trams (2 coupons within the city centre).
